The Richmond Flying Squirrels picked up a win at Senator Thomas J. Dodd Memorial Stadium, topping the Erie SeaWolves, 7-4. On the mound for Richmond was right-hander Enrico Ramírez. He played a principal role in the triumph. Juan Carlos Hernández earned his 3rd save in 3 chances. Richmond has now won 5 straight.

Richmond took a 5-3 lead on Edmund Richards's 27th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Richards hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Erie pitcher José Otero visibly frustrated.

"Enrico is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Richmond manager Mike Sarbaugh.
