Davis Now 13-11 After Beating Senators

The Reading Fightin Phils beat the Harrisburg Senators, 2-0, at Metro Bank Park. Starting pitcher Josh Davis was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. Tony Martínez earned his 27th save in 35 chances. The win for the Fightin Phils lifted their record to 78-58.
Davis imposed his will on the Senators, scattering 6 hits over 8 innings while striking out 8. The left-hander upped his season record to 13-11.
"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Davis.
