Louisville Slugger Stadium was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Charlotte Knights and Louisville Bats.

The Charlotte Knights had to overcome a good performance from Louisville pitcher Rob Davis to claim a 3-2 win at Louisville Slugger Stadium. Davis went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The loss makes Louisville 13-19.

Jorge Salinas helped out the Charlotte cause in the top of the eighth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the shortstop was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Charlotte skipper Jason Boyd.
