Mississippi turned a fine outing from starter Spencer Adams into a victory over the Montgomery Biscuits at Trustmark Park. The final score was 6-2. The loss drops the Biscuits to 4-4.

Mississippi took a 4-2 lead on Desi Rush's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Rush hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Montgomery pitcher Juan Quintero visibly frustrated.
