Pensacola Blue Wahoos starter Micheal Johnston was on his game, helping his team beat the Mississippi Firebirds, 4-1. Johnston, now 1-0, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 1, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Earning his 2nd save of the year was António Castaneda.
