The Helena Brewers trumped the Missoula Osprey, 5-3, at Kindrick Legion Field. Helena catcher Elroy Long was terrific. He was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Missoula is now 1-4.

Long had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 curveball from Tim Hewitt, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Brewers a 5-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Long.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Long said.
