IronPigs Lose to Chiefs in Walk-Off
Sean Daniels impressed in the 6-2 Syracuse win over Lehigh Valley. Daniels, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2023 draft, hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. With the win over Lehigh Valley, the Chiefs improved to 11-21.

Daniels delivered in the clutch for Syracuse. In the bottom of the ninth, he took a first pitch fastball from Lehigh Valley pitcher Miguel Angel Martínez and parked it over the fence. The grand slam home run won it for Syracuse.

Syracuse manager Dave Anderson was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
