RailRiders Bang Out 6-3 Win Versus Buffalo
Walt Reilly had a strong outing for the Scranton WB RailRiders against the Buffalo Bisons at PNC Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. Reilly, the winner, moves to 1-0. He threw 5 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 6 and giving up 5 walks. The loss makes Buffalo 18-15.

The Bisons had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the RailRiders going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 29-year old right fielder Manny Sanchez came to the plate. Sanchez hit a 2-run home run on a 2-2 fastball from Buffalo hurler Pierce Johnson. It was Sanchez's 4th home run of the year.

Scranton WB manager Andrew Bailey commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
