Guardians Win at ACL, 5-2
ACL Guardians starter José Armixo hurled his team past the ACL Cubs, 5-2. Rob Lee picked up the save for ACL, his 3rd of the year. The Guardians improved their record to 7-5 with the win over ACL.

The Guardians got a big at-bat from designated hitter Ron Gamble. For the game, Gamble went 3 for 5 with a triple and a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a bases-clearing triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave ACL a 3-0 lead.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said ACL manager Kevin Randel. "That's what José is right now."
