Though he had a terrific game, Juan Rodríguez could not prevent his team, the ACL Cubs, from absorbing a loss. ACL won the game, 10-6. Rodríguez was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Jorge Costello picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-1. Andy Kelley was tagged with the loss. The win puts ACL at 5-9.

ACL used the clutch hitting of Brendan Thompson to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Brewers the lead, 7-6. For the game, Thompson had 2 singles and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

"We got the victory," said Thompson. "That's all that matters at the end of the day."
