The ACL Rangers beat the ACL Guardians, 9-2, at Surprise Stadium. Jeff Mercado starred for ACL. He went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. The save went to Manny Bryant, his 1st this season. ACL is now 10-9. ACL is 11-8.

With ACL leading 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Mercado hit a run-scoring single off ACL hurler Clarence Hill. It was the 13th hit of the season for Mercado and put his team ahead, 4-2.
