White Sox Rally to Win, 7-6
|
The ACL White Sox overcame a pretty good performance by ACL shortstop Don Milligan, beating the Angels, 7-6, at Camelback Ranch. Milligan went 4-5 with a triple and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Tex Mayfield snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. The losses continue to mount for ACL, which has now dropped 8 in a row.
The White Sox got a clutch hit from second baseman Greg Harris. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the White Sox.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said ACL manager Jared Hughes.
