Walker Excels, But Osprey Win
Geoff Walker did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Helena Brewers from being beaten, 7-4, to the Missoula Osprey at Kindrick Legion Field. It could have been a different outcome for Missoula, had it not been for Rusty Pierce, the 21-year old shortstop . Pierce contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Missoula up, 3-0.
