The Buffalo Bisons got a magnificent effort from pitcher Mitch Brown, who kept Scranton WB hitters in check en route to a 3-1 Bisons win at PNC Field. The win lifted the Buffalo record to 19-16.
Jorge Rodríguez, who is tied for 3rd in the IL in home runs with 6, had a direct impact on the outcome. Rodríguez contributed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put Buffalo up, 2-0.
After the game, Rodríguez told the Buffalo Chronicle, "Like I've always said, the challenge is what makes this game worth playing."
