The ACL Brewers beat the ACL Angels, 5-1, at Tempe Diablo Stadium. Starting pitcher Jeff Key was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The triumph makes ACL 9-18.

ACL won the game in part because of Jim Jenkins. The third baseman ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Brewers ahead, 3-0. For the game, Jenkins had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Jenkins said.
