Ogden Raptors starter Ed McClain had all his pitches working at Lindquist Field. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 9-0 Ogden win over the Helena Brewers. McClain, now 7-2, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 5 hits, while striking out 10, walking 3, and allowing no runs. The Raptors, at 44-9, have now won 13 straight.

Conan Wayland, who is tied for 4th in the PIO in triples with 4, had a timely hit in the bottom of the fifth inning. With no one out and the bases loaded, the Ogden first baseman hit a run-scoring single. That put the Raptors in front, 1-0.

"This was a nice win for us," said Wayland. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
