The ACL Mariners beat the ACL Rangers, 6-3. ACL pitcher and Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela, native José Ramírez led the way. Gilberto Rodríguez earned the save for ACL, his 11th. With the win over ACL, the Mariners improved to 17-13.

ACL took a 2-1 lead on Tim Welch's 9th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Welch hit in the top of the seventh, left ACL pitcher Manny Bryant visibly frustrated.

"When José is on, he can really move the ball around," said ACL manager Casey Lawrence.
