Erwin Lifts Giants to 12-5 Win
ACL third baseman Horace Erwin contributed significantly to his team's 12-5 win over the ACL Brewers. Erwin, who is tied for 2nd in the ACL in home runs with 10, went 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Giants. With the victory, the Giants upped their record to 20-13.

The Brewers had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Giants going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 21-year old right fielder Mike Williams came to the plate. Williams hit a 2-run triple on a 2-2 cutter from ACL hurler Juan Márquez. It was Williams's 2nd triple of the year.

"We've got a great group of guys," Erwin said, "and we're having fun right now."
