Road Win Lifts ACL to 1-0 Lead in R2
The ACL Guardians started the Round 2 in style, winning on the road against the ACL Athletics at Papago Park Sports Facility by a score of 7-5 to take an early 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Guardians shortstop José Brault excelled. He went 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

Toronto, Canada native José Brault had a clutch at-bat in the top of the ninth for the Guardians. With ACL trailing 5-4, he hit a 2-run double.

"We're happy," Brault told reporters after the win. "When you're in the playoffs, you've got to treat every game like it could be your last."
