Great Falls and Helena put this game in the books despite some rain.
Great Falls turned a good performance from starting pitcher David Velásquez into a 5-2 triumph over the Helena Brewers at Kindrick Legion Field. The win puts Great Falls at 49-26 this season.
Great Falls left fielder Don Reynolds helped the Voyagers go up, 1-0, in the top of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Reynolds hit a run-scoring single off Helena pitcher Dan Johnston.
Velásquez told a Great Falls Daily reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
