Lookouts Earn 7-6 Win Versus Hammers
The Chattanooga Lookouts downed the Mississippi Hammers, 7-6, in 13 innings at AT&T Field. The Lookouts were led by Raúl Fernández. Fernández went 3 for 6 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Ángelo Martínez picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Don St. John took the loss. Chattanooga goes to 9-6.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 13th. With two out, Fernández hit a curveball from Don St. John for a run-scoring single. The Lookouts, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Mississippi manager Chris Herrmann. "The effort was great."
