Jacksonville Absorbs 7-2 Loss to Montgomery
The Jacksonville Suns got a sterling performance from pitcher Ethan Price, but the Montgomery Biscuits still prevailed, 7-2. Price came in in relief and pitched to 20 batters. Joe Rogers earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. He upped his record to 1-0. Jacksonville drops to 13-6.

The Biscuits got a big at-bat from catcher Eric Faulkner. For the game, Faulkner was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Montgomery a 3-1 lead.

"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Faulkner told the Montgomery News.
