The Jackson Generals knocked off the Montgomery Biscuits, 6-4, in Southern League action at The Ballpark at Jackson. Jackson pitcher and Grafton, Massachusetts, native Joe Lukies had an outstanding performance. Hugh Herring picked up his 6th save of the season. The Biscuits fall to 9-11 and continue their uninspiring start to the 2025 season.

The Generals got a big at-bat from right fielder Alex Stanton. For the game, Stanton went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Jackson a 3-0 lead.

"Solid performance from our side," said Generals manager Mark L. Johnson.
