Generals Earn 5-4 Win Versus BayBears
The Jackson Generals defeated the Mobile BayBears, 5-4, at The Ballpark at Jackson. Leading the charge for Jackson was right fielder Bobby White. He was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. Stefan Theodorakis came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 5 hits in 3 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Hugh Herring nailed down the save.

Anderson, Indiana native Bobby White had a clutch at-bat in the bottom of the eighth for the Generals. With Jackson trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.

"Fun game," said White, "even when the outcome was in doubt."

The BayBears drop to 10-10 and continue their mediocre start to the 2026 season.
