Mike Taylor pitched a gem to lead Chattanooga to victory over the Biloxi Shuckers, 7-1. The Shuckers, now 6-19, continue their inauspicious start.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, Alfredo Sánchez was at the plate when Chattanooga scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Lookouts to go in front, 2-1.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Sánchez.
