Montgomery pitcher José González did his part in helping his team beat the Chattanooga Lookouts, 7-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Chattanooga drops to 19-10.

González contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With a runner on 3rd, he hit a run-scoring triple. It was one at-bat among others that helped Montgomery get the win.

González told a Montgomery News reporter that the win made him feel "upbeat about our team."
