Fading Shuckers Lose 10th Straight
Trustmark Park was the site of some high drama.

The Hammers grabbed a win, 9-8, at Trustmark Park, overcoming a fine effort from Biloxi pitcher Cedric Lee. Lee went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The current losing streak for Biloxi has reached 10 games.

Mississippi got a knockout punch from Joe Powers. The left fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This place sure got loud," said Chris Herrmann, the Mississippi manager.
