Blue Wahoos 9-3 Winners Over Biloxi
The Pensacola Blue Wahoos picked up a win at Five County Stadium, knocking off the Biloxi Shuckers, 9-3. On the mound for Pensacola was right-hander Bruno Quinn. He played a key role in the triumph. In 7 innings, Quinn surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 3. He allowed 2 runs. Pensacola is 22-12 and Biloxi, with the loss, 13-21.

An inflection point occurred with two out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Blue Wahoos second baseman Sancho Marín hit a fastball from Xavier Rivera for a 2-run single. Just like that, Pensacola was up, 3-2.
