The Erie SeaWolves rode a solid performance from 26-year-old starting pitcher Jon Dwight to a win, beating the Bowie Baysox, 7-1, at Jerry Uht Park. Dwight got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 5 hits and walked 0 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 1 run. The hot start continues for the defending champion SeaWolves. This was their 7th win in 10 games.

Mike Walker had a big bases-clearing triple for the SeaWolves in the bottom of the fourth inning. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the SeaWolves ahead, 4-0.
