Orlando Rivera, who is tied for 6th in the SL with a 1.09 WHIP, propelled his team to victory over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. The final score was 12-2, Jacksonville. The Suns have an impressive 25-16 record.

Chris O'Halloran had a big bases-clearing double for the Suns in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Jacksonville leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Doug Merkel, who is tied for 9th in the SL in complete games with 1, and swatted a double to left. It was his 8th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Suns ahead, 5-0.
