Behind an impressive start by Ron McKinney, Biloxi beat Jacksonville, 5-1. The victory makes Biloxi 9-33.

José Martínez had a big 2-run double for the Shuckers in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Biloxi leading 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a sinker from Bobby Swanson, who is tied for 2nd in the SL with a 2.03 ERA, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Shuckers ahead, 4-1.

"Ron is a gamer," said Biloxi manager Michael Barrett.
