The home crowd had a good time watching the Tennessee Smokies and Chattanooga Lookouts get after it.

The Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Tennessee Smokies, 13-4, at AT&T Field. Luis Pimentel was a standout performer for Chattanooga. His 3 hits included 1 single and 2 doubles -- this in addition to the 1 run he scored and 3 he knocked in. Chattanooga raised its record to 31-16 with the win.

With Chattanooga leading 4-3 in the bottom of the third, Pimentel hit a 2-run single off Tennessee hurler Jimmy Mill. It was the 23rd hit of the season for Pimentel and put his team ahead, 6-3.

Chattanooga manager Mike Johns commended his team for "putting the hammer down."
