Firebirds 4-3 Winners Versus Jackson
Mississippi registered a win at Trustmark Park by beating the Jackson Generals, 4-3. Pitcher Spencer Adams was one reason why the Firebirds triumphed. With the victory, the Firebirds upped their record to 30-17.

The Firebirds benefited from a costly error in the bottom of the sixth. With Jesús Bermúdez at bat and Mississippi leading 2-1, the Jackson miscue allowed Mississippi to plate 2 and take the lead, 4-1.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Jackson manager Mark L. Johnson said, following the tough loss.
