The Montgomery Biscuits topped the Chattanooga Lookouts, 2-0, in Southern League action at AT&T Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Montgomery pitcher Rubén González. Montgomery is now 22-38, Chattanooga 37-23.

González, who dominated for Montgomery, earned the victory to move to 1-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 1. Chattanooga batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"My job is to throw quality pitches, go as deep as I can, and give us an opportunity," said González.
