BayBears Send Jacksonville Home with 6-4 Loss
The Mobile BayBears dealt the Jacksonville Suns a 6-4 loss at Hank Aaron Stadium. Héctor Ramírez, who is tied for 5th in the SL in home runs with 6, was the star on offense. He was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 3 times. Luis Valdés finished the game for Mobile and earned his 14th save. Mobile is now 30-37, while Jacksonville is 46-21.

Jim Seymour had a big run-scoring double for the BayBears in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Mobile leading 4-3 and a runner on 1st, he got a changeup from Bobby Swanson, who is tied for 7th in the SL with a 1.23 WHIP, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 5th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the BayBears ahead, 5-3.

Mobile manager commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
