Shuckers Win 3-1 Walk-Off
|
The Biloxi Shuckers topped the Tennessee Smokies, 3-1, in Southern League action at MGM Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Biloxi first baseman Brad Holmes. The win has Biloxi at 30-57.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Holmes hit a curveball from Jeremy Olsen for a 2-run home run. The Shuckers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"This game was intense," Holmes said, postgame.
