The Jacksonville Suns downed the Montgomery Biscuits, 7-4, at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. Jeff Edwards led the way, going 2-for-4 for Jacksonville. Ken Benson, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.1 innings. The Suns have an impressive 59-35 record.

Jacksonville used the timely hitting of Samuel Borel to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Suns on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Borel told the Jacksonville Daily News.
