Mississippi starter Spencer Adams pitched well against the Montgomery Biscuits at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-3. Esteban Soto earned the save, his 30th. The victory gives Mississippi a record of 61-44.

The Hammers got a big at-bat from shortstop Mike Cantrell. For the game, Cantrell was 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Mississippi a 1-0 lead.
