The Biloxi Shuckers used the hitting of catcher Kurt Lambert to subdue the Pensacola Blue Wahoos, 12-10, in 15 innings. For the game, Lambert went 4-6 with a double, 3 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Reliever Tomás Caraveo picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. António Castaneda, who is tied for 3rd in the SL in saves with 29, took the loss. The Shuckers go to 42-76 with the win.

Biloxi used a timely hit from Erik Pope to get the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 15th inning to put the Shuckers ahead, 11-10. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"This game showed the grit and grind of our guys," said Pope.
