Pigafetta Helps BayBears Win, 8-6, with Pair of Homers
Mobile and Montgomery duked it out and the BayBears came out victorious.

Behind a fine performance from Charles Pigafetta, the Mobile BayBears knocked off the Montgomery Biscuits, 8-6. Pigafetta was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3 for the BayBears. The win was credited to 26-year old right-handed pitcher Dave Oglethorpe in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Juan Quintero took the loss.

In the bottom of the eighth, the BayBears grabbed the lead when Pigafetta hit his 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Juan Quintero made it 8-6, Mobile.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Pigafetta.

The 4th-place BayBears are now 54-67, the Biscuits 49-72.
