Montgomery catcher Eric Faulkner had a good game, even if his team did not. The Biscuits dropped a 7-5 decision to Mobile at Hank Aaron Stadium. Charles Pigafetta had a big 2-run home run for the BayBears in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Mobile leading 4-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher António Mercado and punished it. The result was his 11th home run of the season, which put the BayBears on top, 6-1.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Pigafetta said.
