Travelers Earn Win with Late Rally
|
Frisco wasted a solid 7.1-inning effort from starting pitcher Moises Cedeno, losing to Arkansas, 2-1, at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. The save was credited to Mike Wolf, his 4th. Frisco now is 3-8.
Mike MacIntosh provided a timely hit. The Arkansas designated hitter delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the eighth inning to put the Travelers on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.
MacIntosh called the win "a team effort."
