RoughRiders Post 3-2 Win Over Midland
|
Frisco turned a good effort from starter Rubén Navarro into a win over the Midland RockHounds at Security Bank Ballpark. The final score was 3-2. Navarro, now 1-2, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 6, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Dan Lowe finished the game for Frisco and earned his 4th save.
Jeremy Wolf, who is tied for 2nd in the TEX in triples with 1, had a direct impact on the outcome. Wolf contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Frisco up, 3-1.
"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Midland manager Basilio Cabrera.
The RoughRiders have stumbled out of the gate, getting only their 4th win in 15 games.
