RockHounds Resilient in 8-7 Win Over Corpus Christi
The Midland RockHounds did just enough to sneak past the Corpus Christi Hooks, 8-7, at Security Bank Ballpark. Midland pitcher Nacho Romero, in particular, had a standout performance. With the loss, Corpus Christi falls to 7-17.

José Domínguez was the walk-off hero for Midland. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the RockHounds first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a nice win for our side today," said RockHounds manager Basilio Cabrera. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
