The Northwest Arkansas Naturals and Arkansas Travelers provided some drama for the home crowd.

Dan Williams pitched well, but the Northwest Arkansas Naturals still lost the game, falling, 3-2, to the Arkansas Travelers at Arvest Ballpark. Andy McCormick was called on to finish, recording his 6th save.

Jesús Gonzáles had a direct impact on the outcome. Gonzáles contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Arkansas up, 1-0.

"I like our mindset right now," said Arkansas manager Mike Redmond.

Arkansas is now 11-14.
