Frisco designated hitter Jesús Rodríguez had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-2, to San Antonio at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. Rodríguez went 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Josh Hader picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Max Phillips suffered the loss. Sergio Guzmán was credited with the save for San Antonio, his 2nd of the season.

Mike Barnes came through with a big-time hit for San Antonio. The second baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning to give his team the lead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Barnes said.

With the win, San Antonio has a record of 20-11. Frisco falls to 8-23.
