The Frisco RoughRiders trumped the San Antonio Missions, 12-5, at Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium. Frisco shortstop António Velásquez was terrific. He went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The RoughRiders improved their record to 25-15 by beating San Antonio.

Joe Sherman drew 1 walk for Frisco. The 25-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the second. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Doug Wilson. It was his 25th RBI of the season.

"We've got a great group of guys," Velásquez said, "and we're having fun right now."
