Travelers Roll to 10-3 Win Over Naturals

Arkansas left fielder Eric Thomas helped his team beat the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, 10-3. Thomas, who is tied for 6th in the TEX in triples with 2, went 2 for 3 for the Travelers. Augusto Sánchez got credit for the win, improving to 2-1. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.2 innings. Arkansas has now won 3 in a row.
With the game tied, 3-3, in the top of the seventh, Thomas had a key at-bat for Arkansas. With the bases loaded, Thomas hit a run-scoring single off Edgardo Méndez, making the score 4-3, Travelers.
"We were able to put some runs on the board," said Thomas after the game.
