The Frisco RoughRiders got a magnificent performance from pitcher Joe Howgill, who muffled the Midland offense en route to a tight, 2-1 RoughRiders win at Dr. Pepper Ballpark. Frisco now sits at 26-16, while Midland falls to 19-23.

Howgill was the winner. He's now 4-3, after putting the Midland offense in a vise grip. Over 9 innings, he gave up 1 run on 4 hits, while racking up 10 Ks.
