Tulsa Crafts 4-3 Win

The San Antonio Missions could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Juan Bernard into a win. Instead, the Tulsa Drillers prevailed, 4-3. Bernard threw 7.0 innings of 5-hit ball. Andres Matos was the winner in relief. His record is now 4-1. The losing pitcher was Rusty King. So far in 2026, Tulsa is 29-21.
The Drillers beat the Missions in part due to timely hitting. Case in point: the two-out single Ken Collins produced in the top of the ninth. Batting against Rusty King, Collins gave his team the lead, 4-3, when he hit a run-scoring single.
"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Collins told the Tulsa Daily News.
